What the Role Involves

You'll be supporting students with profound learning difficulties, often alongside medical conditions and physical disabilities. Tasks may include:

Assisting with moving and handling (hoists, personal care, wheelchair transfers)

Delivering sensory-based and communication-rich activities

Working closely with physiotherapists, speech therapists and class teachers

Creating a safe, structured and caring environment

What You'll Need

✅ Experience supporting children with PMLD, SLD or complex needs
✅ Moving and handling training 
✅ A caring, patient and flexible approach
✅ Experience with communication aids (PECS, Makaton, sensory strategies) is a bonus
