Desian Education are proud to be supporting a two-form entry primary school in Warrington that is rated “Good” in all area’s as they require an experienced and reliable teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join a supportive EYFS & KS1 team.

Your new role

As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting all classes across EYFS and KS1, working in collaboration with class teachers to promote the engagement, learning and development of all pupils. You will offer comprehensive 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ALN (additional learning needs) across the classes. You will interpedently plan and delivering intense interventions in target area’s and subject to make pupil shortfalls areas of strength.

What you need to succeed

• Full “Right to Work” in the UK
• Expert knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 national curriculums
• Be at least NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualified
• An Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate or willingness to obtain
• Relevant referenceable classroom experience in EYFS and/or KS1
