FLT Reach Truck Driver 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Pendlebury, Greater Manchester. 

Temporary to Permanent position available for the right candidate.

Shifts: 

• Monday - Friday: 7am - 4pm

Pay Rate: 

• £12.88 per hour

Day to day duties:

As a FLT Reach Truck Driver your duties will involve but are not limited to:

•  Driving/Operating a Reach Truck + Picking and packing duties
•  Loading & Unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner.
•  Moving and transporting stock into correct areas of the warehouse.
•  Loading & loading vehicles and pallets.
•  Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required.
•  Organising, wrapping, and securing stock ready for delivery.
•  Stacking and stowing pallets away.
•  Always adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
•  Checking the quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
•  Clearing work area of any debris and keeping traffic routes clear of obstructions.
•  Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks and or other safety hazards to the supervisor.

Essential Skills

The following skills are essential as a FLT Reach Truck Driver:

•  Valid Reach Truck Licence
•  Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety.
•  Punctuality and good time keeping skills.
•  Strong Teamwork skills.
•  Must be able to read and speak a certain level of English.
•  Ability to work under pressure and in a challenging environment.
•  Ability to pay close attention to details and adhere to deadlines.

Desirable Experience:

•  Experience working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial.

Training:

•  Full training will be provided for this role, and you will need to undergo an assessment.
