From powering trains to ensuring safety and maintaining operations, my client is dedicated to excellence in every project and is now seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

About the Electrical Design Engineer Role:

My client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' railway projects by providing expert electrical services.

Your responsibilities will include.

* Producing accurate design packages using Auto CAD/ micro-station software, lighting design software (Relux/Dialux) and electrical design software (Trimble Amtec)

* Interpreting client requirements and apply appropriate techniques to achieve suitable design outputs.

* Perform electrical calculations, lighting calculations and coordinated building services design drawings compliant to British standards, Network Rail standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards.

* Prepare and produce design drawings, specifications, risk assessments and client information relevant for submission to client.

* Consideration/ application of sustainable design solutions where applicable.

* Carrying out site surveys both in a rail environment and a ''high street'' environment and preparing reports and documentation.

* Keep updated on industry trends and best practices.

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of Experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer working within Building Services.

* With experience in working on project up to £2 Million.

* Proficient in AutoCAD, Relux and Trimble software

* holds an engineering Degree or Equivalent

* Trustworthiness, reliability, conscientiousness, and a strong drive for career progression

* Highly motivated individual with excellent teamwork skills

* Ability to write technical reports and documentation

About the Benefits and Rewards:

* Up to £42,000 P/A (DOE)

* Pension scheme 5%

* Overtime pay
