Our client is a leading contract manufacturer serving a diverse range of industries. They specialise in precision machining across various materials, including plastics and exotic metals, delivering high-quality components to exacting standards.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a 5-axis CNC milling machine and produce precision components for multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme, set, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines (Siemens controls).
* Manufacture components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
* Work with a variety of materials including plastics and exotic metals.
* Perform first-off inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machining processes.
Requirements:
* Time-served CNC Machinist with strong milling experience.
* Confident in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
* Experience with 5-axis milling preferred (training on Siemens controls provided if required).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
