Fabric Technician - Heathrow - 41k + Bonus

We are currently seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of a critical data centre facility based near Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring a first-class working environment.

Working within a technically advanced and secure site, you will play a key role in ensuring that the building fabric and associated infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site

* Perform general building repairs including carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, patch repairs, and general fabric works

* Ensure the site remains compliant with health and safety standards

* Support the wider engineering team with general maintenance tasks where required

* Identify and report any potential building issues or risks

* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any follow-up actions required

* Ensure all works are completed to a high standard within a critical environment

Requirements:

* A relevant core qualification in a building trade (such as carpentry, plumbing, or similar)

* Previous experience in a commercial building, facilities, or critical environment

* Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship

* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently

* Good communication and problem-solving skills

* Someone with their head switched on who can take ownership of tasks and work responsibly within a secure environment

Package

* Up to 41k

* Non-contractual performance bonus typically paid at 3-4% annually
