Private Client Solicitor (1-3 years') A leading Scottish law firm is seeking a private client solicitor to join its growing and highly regarded team in Edinburgh.

The Opportunity

The Private Client team advises individuals and families across the UK on a broad range of matters. You will manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision, including:

• Estate planning and succession matters
• Executry administration
• Trust creation and management
• Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax considerations
• Client meetings 
• Cross-referral work with other departments

You will work closely with an experienced team, gaining strong client exposure and responsibility from an early stage.

About You

• 1-3 years’ PQE with previous private client experience
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, executries and trusts
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing your own caseload
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client matters
• Interest in business development and contributing to team growth

STEP qualification or dual qualification (Scotland & England & Wales) is desirable but not essential.
