Maths Teacher - Hounslow, London

An Outstanding secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their high-achieving department from September 2025. The role is offered on a long-term contract basis until at least July 2026, with potential for extension or permanency.

This is a full-time position, but the school is open to considering part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The school offers a competitive salary aligned with the Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale and has onsite parking available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a strong mathematical understanding through engaging lessons, real-life applications, and problem-solving challenges.

• Contribute to the department's curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and extra-curricular opportunities such as Maths Challenges or Clubs.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

• Strong subject knowledge, especially at A-Level
