Our client is a well-established Civil Engineering Main Contractor, highly respected within the Marine sector and known for delivering complex, high-quality projects.
They are currently seeking a Freelance Senior Engineer to support ongoing works across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable team on a variety of schemes, providing key support through project delivery.
Based primarily in Shoreham and reporting to the Project Manager/Contracts Manager the role will involve some travel across the South Coast to various project sites, providing vital support with RAMS, documentation, and on-site delivery coordination.
We're looking for someone proactive, flexible, and mobile — happy to work away from home when needed ( expenses covered) and confident in supporting multiple schemes at different stages.

Please only apply if you are an Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) with experience in civil engineering.
Requirements:
* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
* Compose method statements
* Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
* Experience in Marine or heavy civils
* Skilled in GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD
* Strong awareness of marine risks (tides, ingress, temporary works)
* CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS is an advantage)
