This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a respected regional accountancy practice with strong growth across the North West. You'll manage audits from planning to completion, support junior team members, and build solid client relationships across a varied portfolio.

Description

You'll deliver end-to-end audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of SMEs and mid-market clients. This includes fieldwork, file preparation, reviewing junior work, presenting findings, and ensuring all audit standards are met. You'll work closely with managers, contribute to improving audit processes, and collaborate with other service lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audits from planning to completion
  • Review working papers and support junior staff development
  • Prepare statutory accounts and audit documentation
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Maintain compliance with relevant audit standards
  • Use modern audit and accounting software (training provided)
  • Contribute to ad-hoc assurance work as needed

Profile

The Succesful applicant will:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong background in audit within practice
  • Confident leading audits and mentoring juniors
  • Clear communicator with strong client-facing ability
  • Proactive, team-focused, and keen to progress
  • Able to commute to Liverpool city centre

Job Offer
