About the Role:

Reporting to theFinance Managerat Audience Group, the Accountant will manage daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and reliable, and has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proactive approach to financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Recordkeeping:Maintainaccurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

• Reporting, Forecasting & Compliance:Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws. Support external audits by providing necessary financial data, documentation and reports.

• Systems & Process Support:Support system administration and process improvements. Assist with general accounting and financial tasks as needed.

• Collaboration & Project Management:Work closely with the accounting advisor and finance manager. Participate in project management from an accounting perspective (e.g., reconciliation, expense and time control).

Skills and experience:

• You have at least 5 years of accounting and financeexperience with AAT3 level certification.

• You are proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, SAP), ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• You have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• You have excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• You have a high attention to detail and can work on multiple projects and activities.

• You are able to work independently and meet deadlines with high accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

• You have strong communication(written and spoken) and interpersonal skills.

• You are proficient in digital ways of working using Microsoft365, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM tools, G-suite and Google, Zoom, etc.
