Deputy Residential Childcare Manager

Annual Salary £31,303.48 - £35,000 per annum inclusive of 1 sleep-in per week at £40 each (Based on 39hpw)

Shift Patterns

A combination of early shifts, late shifts and full days with occasional sleep-in duties. All positions include working some weekends and bank holidays.

Early 07:30-15:00

Late 14:30- 22.00 or sleep

Full 07:30- 22:00 or sleep

About the company

The company provides safe, stimulating care and aspirational educational opportunities to children and young people aged between 11 and 18 with a range of complex speech, language and communication difficulties including autism. The young people may also have additional learning difficulties and display associated challenging behaviours.

We are looking to recruit a competent, experienced, and passionate Deputy Manager.

• Candidates will have at least 3 years' experience within a similar setting, a working knowledge of autism and will already hold a Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare or equivalent.

• Holding a valid driving licence is essential.

• Reporting to the Registered Manager, the post holder will assist in the management, co-ordination, and development of a range of quality services for young people referred and/or accommodated within the home.

• Deputy Manager starts from £29,223.48 per year, (£31,303.48 on average including sleep-ins)

• Annual salary uplift of £750 on successfully completing the first year in the role, further £750 salary upliftfor completing the second year with further increments offered in recognition of experience or additional responsibilities to a maximum of the top of the band. (pro rata for part time)
