Wondros Wondros is a global creative agency that intersects fields of social change, public health, and the arts. We tackle communications challenges with a human-centered approach, from design research to brand architecture to digital & film production to motion graphics to live experiences. Job Summary: Wondros is looking for an experienced, adaptable copywriter to join our creative team. While seated in La Jolla and working in conjunction with the Wondros San Diego team, the right candidate will report to the Creative Director in Los Angeles. This copywriter will work on the creation and delivery of marketing communications for the ​ All of Us ​ Research Program across all channels, including but not limited to digital, social, video and print. The copywriter will support a variety of initiatives, including the creation of landing pages, email marketing campaigns, banner ads, video scripts, social media assets, newsletters, and print collateral materials. Responsibilities: ● Develop impactful marketing messaging for creative campaigns ● Work directly with the client(s) to understand their goals and objectives and ensure that all content is on-target ● Ideate original copy for digital and print, and revise per client feedback ● Be a collaborative partner with a Wondros Designer on campaigns ● Conform to ​ All of Us ​ program brand guidelines ● Remain on schedule, adhere to fast turn-around times, juggle multiple priorities ● Write in a variety of different styles, tones, and voices for varying demographics - while remaining true to the brand identity ● Create material that builds trust and brand recognition We are looking for a copywriter with the following qualities: ● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills ● A team player who strives to improve their skill set, and takes direction and constructive criticism well ● Socially-minded, with experience in the healthcare industry preferred ● Tech-savvy ● Social Media savvy with a deep understanding of messaging for awareness, engagement, and conversion ● A self-starter with a can-do attitude ● Understands the ebb and flow of project work and client reviews, and is proactive in finding ways to drive work forward with the team ● Finely tuned self-management skills with strong proofreading and attention to detail ● Demonstration of critical thinking so that client strategies and objectives are successfully translated in a clear and concise manner to drive impact ● Fast-thinking decision-maker with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise ● Someone with agency experience, who understands how to professionally interact with clients and partners Required Qualifications: ● BA/BS degree and relevant working experience ● A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent copywriter but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on insights to drive your work ● Work on-site in La Jolla daily
