Bar and Waiting Staff – Hospitality Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Bar & Waiting Staff on behalf of our client, a welcoming and busy hospitality venue. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join a friendly team and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service. As Bar & Waiting Staff, you will be at the heart of front-of-house operations, ensuring every customer enjoys a high standard of service.

The successful Bar & Waiting Staff candidates will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Working in a fast-paced setting, you will need to be attentive, personable and proactive, helping to create a positive atmosphere for guests.

As Bar & Waiting Staff, you will also assist with bar duties including preparing beverages, handling payments and ensuring all service areas meet health and safety standards. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional approach
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages efficiently
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Operate the till and handle payments
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and bar areas
• Clear and reset tables promptly
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations
• Support stock replenishment

Skills and Experience

• Previous bar or waitressing experience preferable but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, approachable and reliable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Basic numeracy skills
