Electrical Technician (Maintenance)
Up to £37,000 per annum + Overtime (Premium rates 1.3x Sat & 2x Sun) + Call Out Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 5% Matched Pension Contribution + Death in Service Benefit
3 Shift Pattern (Days 05.45 - 13.45 / Afternoons 13.45 - 21.45 / Nights 21.45 - 05.45)
Electrical Technician required for a successful global manufacturing company. This is a great chance to join a hardworking and motivated team, with the opportunity to boost earnings through overtime.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer/Technician from any manufacturing industry. Those with FMCG or automotive experience will hold an advantage although this isn't essential. You will be multi skilled or electrically biased with a knowledge of fault finding on PLCs.
Your time will be split between planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery e.g. extrusion machines, lathes, milling machines. You will also get involved with some interesting installation and project-based work. In this role, you will be required to fault find on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment, and will mainly be working with hydraulics, conveyors, bearings, gears, single phase & 3 phase.
The company require mandatory weekend overtime 1 week in every 3, which is payable at a premium rate (with time and a third on Saturday and double pay on a Sunday). There is also the opportunity to boost earnings through mid-week overtime.

The Electrical Technician Role:
* Planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery

The Electrical Technician:
* Experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician from any manufacturing environment
* Electrical bias or multi-skilled with knowledge of PLC's
* Apprenticeship or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential
