Metrologist – Dimensional Calibration | Coventry | Full-Time

A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Metrologist to join their UKAS-accredited laboratory based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in dimensional metrology and mechanical inspection to contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform calibration and certification of dimensional measuring equipment and reference masters in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and administrative documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at both in-house and customer locations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Holds relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or has completed an engineering apprenticeship with substantial experience in standards room or gauge inspection.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
• Possesses strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology.
• Capable of working independently and managing tasks at customer sites.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
