We are looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our clients' team, who is a leading waste management business. The successful candidate will supervise a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

* Oversee water removal from floors and ensure areas are dried and safe, preparing for any necessary repairs.

* Ensure cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas is carried out regularly and effectively.

* Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.

* Conduct regular inspections to maintain site hygiene and safety standards.

* Provide training, guidance, and support to the cleaning team.

* Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies at all times.

* Report maintenance issues and work collaboratively with other departments as needed.

Requirements

* Previous experience in cleaning supervision or team leadership.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

* Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties as required.

* Knowledge of health & safety standards in a cleaning or industrial environment.
