Project Engineer - Weapons Systems
Salary: Circa £50,000-£65,000 Depending on Experience
Location(s): Bristol (Preferred) or Bolton or Stevenage
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 2-3 Days per Week On-Site due to Workload Classification
 
You will be responsible for the delivery, certification and integration of Command-and-Control Processing Unit hardware and associated subsystems within a cutting-edge directed energy weapon programme.

The Role:

Be responsible for the hardware delivery and physical certification of complex systems and sub-systems, whilst showing an understanding for the overall product, including software.
Coordinate work packages for both internal and external suppliers to develop products, ensuring that cost, deadlines and technical choices, are in accordance with the specifications.
Work closely with design authorities and suppliers, overseeing system integration activities across the full engineering lifecycle. 
Key Responsibilities:

Proven project engineering experience in defence or regulated sectors
Strong knowledge of hardware delivery and physical certification processes
Ability to manage stakeholders and supplier relationships effectively
Understanding of systems integration and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Familiarity with design reviews and engineering lifecycle stages
