One of the UK's largest privately owned Contractors have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their North West office. The first project you will be responsible for is a new build Healthcare project in Manchester

The Senior Project manager will hold full responsibility for the management and delivery of the project, from pre-construction through to on site delivery.

The Senior Project Manager role will include:

Help develop the projects main works programme and ensure that no work commences on site until the health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place.
Provide leadership and support to all Employees and help to develop people within your TeamComply with the requirements of the company's Quality Procedure and Manual
Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively
Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
Be proactive in the identification and resolution of problems
Ensuring the project runs to program and budget
Work closely and liaise as required with the design team
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and their representative
To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they ariseKnowledge skills & experience

Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering projects over £10m at Project or Senior Project Manager level for Main Contractors
Experience of successfully delivering projects with the Healthcare sector is desirable
Experience of Project Planning
Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills
Strong Commercial awareness
