Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home

💷 Salary: £35,000 per annum
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a children's residential home in Cronton. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager, taking a lead on day-to-day operations and ensuring high standards of care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Registered Manager in running the home

* Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff

* Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and compliance

* Step in as Acting Manager during absences

* Promote a nurturing and structured environment for young people

Requirements:

* Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People (Essential)

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Desirable)

* At least 3 years' experience in residential childcare

* Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or senior role

* Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection
