A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Westminster is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2025. This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive difference in the early years of a child's education.

About the Role

The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and high expectations to their KS1 classroom. You will be joining a collaborative team with strong leadership and a shared vision for outstanding teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge all learners

*

Creating a safe, inclusive classroom culture that fosters independence, confidence, and a love of learning

*

Using assessment data effectively to track progress and plan next steps for individual pupils

*

Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child's academic and personal development

*

Contributing to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, trips, and enrichment opportunities

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high standards and inclusive practice. You should be reflective, adaptable, and eager to grow within a supportive professional environment.

Essential requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (including during training placements)

*

Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks

*

Effective behaviour management and a nurturing, child-centred approach

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*

A commitment to professional development and whole-school improvement
