Class1 Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Gas (CP) Skilled Person with strong gas network experience to support a key infrastructure project at MOD Woodbridge.
This is a part-time role (1-2 days per week) running from now until 22 December 2026, making it ideal for a professional looking for a flexible contract while contributing to an important defence-related project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in quality assurance, compliance, and technical oversight of a new LPG gas network installation.
Key Responsibilities for the Gas (Cp) Skilled Person:
Conduct quality assurance and compliance checks on a new LPG gas network installation
Liaise with Amey, subcontractors, and site stakeholders
Attend site progress meetings and provide technical updates
Review safety documentation and compliance records
Ensure all works meet relevant gas and safety standards
Essential Requirements
EUSR SCO qualifications
Proven gas network experience in a similar competency or assurance role
BPSS clearance or the ability to obtain it
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working within a defence environment
Familiarity with NEC contracts
Knowledge of LPG systems and associated compliance standards
