Our client, a long standing manufacturer in Hitchin is currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join its growing team. Easily accessible via public transport the Hitchin industrial estate is an ideal location and with ample overtime opportunities, this is an excellent opportunity for long term employment. The ideal candidate will have the below:
- Formal management qualification at least level 2 NVQ in first line management and supervision.
- Formal qualification in managing safely, I.e. IOSH
- A good understanding of the work scheduling systems in use throughout the department whether by works orders or Kan Ban systems.
- Have a good working knowledge of a computer based MRP system such as Q.A.D.
