About Us: Reed education are working alongside a fantastic school based in March, Peterborough, committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all our pupils. We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with ASD throughout the school day.
• Assist the pupil with schoolwork set out by the teacher, ensuring they remain focused and engaged.
• Support the pupil with their behaviour inside and outside the classroom.
• Take the pupil to the sensory room if they feel overwhelmed, helping them to manage their emotions.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Right to work in the UK and a UK address.
• Excellent behavioural management skills.

Pay:

• £85-£95 per day, depending on experience.
