Robert Half are working in partnership with a highly regarded, fast paced business in Swindon to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone that is studying towards their ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT (level 4) and is looking to expand on their management accounting and financial accounting experience, whilst being a part of a reputable company that is known for offering further career development. The salary is between £35,000 - £40,000 plus study support, annual bonus, hybrid working (x1 day from home) and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:

• Preparing the monthly management accounts; balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journals, general ledger reconciliations.
• Supporting with the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Producing financial reports and management information for month-end.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Supporting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Liaising with stakeholders and dealing with queries.

Requirements

To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:

• Must have experience preparing management accounts; exposure to accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
• Ideally an ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT (level 4) studier
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organised
• Strong team player
• Adaptable
• Confident user of Excel
