Our client is on the search for a talented Finance and Operations Associate to join their team, which is an extremely exciting opportunity to get into a very successful software development company.

They operate in a fast paced and supportive environment with innovation at the heart of everything they do.
In a nutshell, you would be involved in all things finance, operational and office where no day is the same.
 
Whether you have recently finished your A-Levels, your degree or just want a change of career then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. They're proud to be based in Plymouth and have recently been recognised in the Tech South West Awards 2022 for playing an active role in developing regional talent.
 
As the successful candidate, you would ensure the business runs effectively, that they invest money wisely and make sure things always tick along nicely. You will be able to work on your own initiative, think on your feet and be an excellent communicator.
 
Your three main responsibilities will be:

Finance: Processing payments, setting up new suppliers, and supporting their Financial Controller.
Operational: Ensuring new starters are onboarded and are made to feel welcome, making travel and accommodation arrangements and booking training courses for their team members.
Office: Arranging team events, maintaining a clean and tidy office, and liaising with office suppliers. 
This is by no means an exhaustive list and they will expect your responsibilities to evolve over time, with an opportunity to get more involved in areas of interest. This will give you the great opportunity to shape your career!

A 'people person' who enjoys building relationships
An organiser - you would be comfortable switching between tasks and multitasking
A great communicator both written and verbal - you set yourself high standards and have a high attention to detail.
Analytical - you have a natural affinity for numbers, are intrigued to investigate what data can tell them, and enjoy working with Excel or Google sheets.
Flexible - you love to get stuck into different projects and tasks

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 9-5 but hours can be flexible. The role is in their Head Office in Plymouth, currently undergoing a high spec refurbishment. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
