We are working with an excellent engineering company who are looking for an experienced accounts/payroll assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Due to this role reporting into the managing director and the main point of contact within the team it would suit an experienced senior accounts/payroll clerk or Bookkeeper.
Duties will include:
- Prepare accounts to trial balance
- Full end to end payroll (in house - most monthly pay)
- SMP/SPP/SSP
- Dealing with staff expenses and holidays etc
- Processing purchase invoices
- Uploading and matching invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Other adhoc administrative duties
