Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for literature and language? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our vibrant team. Role: Full-Time English Teacher Location: Ipswich, Suffolk.

About the role

As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. You will inspire a love for English language and literature through engaging lessons, creative activities, and personalized instruction. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum content, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Additionally, you will contribute to the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, departmental initiatives, and collaborative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and assessment tools.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide events as required.
Uphold the values and ethos of the school, promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence in education.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of academic success and student achievement.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English language and literature.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
