Belmont Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and committed Educational Support Worker to join the team at Sheaf Training Centre in Sheffield, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a temporary contract for 2-3 months with a view to extend.

Location: Sheaf Training Centre, Sheffield

Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm

Duties will include:

*

Providing one-to-one and small group learning support for learners with SEND

*

Assisting in the delivery of tailored educational activities and resources

*

Supporting learners with personal care needs where required

*

Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction

*

Helping manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way

*

Liaising with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to support learner progress

*

Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times

Requirements:

* Previous SEN Teaching/Support experience

* Able to support High Needs learners overcome barriers to learning with a focus on tracking learner progress towards Preparation for Adulthood, Math's and English.

* Enhanced DBS
