Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce. You must also have at least 2 years of experience within residential Childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Make a huge difference in a child's life. You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
  • Ensure the welfare and care of each child but also give guidance and support to all residential workers.
  • Responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas and making sure that education is supported.
  • You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them.
