Production Operative – Near Bathgate

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client’s manufacturing site based near Bathgate. Please note: this site is not accessible via public transport, therefore all applicants must have their own transport.

This role offers full-time hours on a long-term basis, with genuine opportunities to grow and progress within a well-established team.

Shift Rotation

• Monday to Wednesday – Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Monday to Wednesday – Days (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Thursday – Days (1 x 8-hour shift)

Rates of Pay

• £13.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating and monitoring machinery within the control room and extrusion area
• Running pellets and ensuring product quality standards are maintained
• Using computer systems for monitoring and machine set-up
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Basic PC literacy
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Reliable and committed approach to work

Desirable Experience

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience (not essential)
• Experience working shifts or within a production environment

Training Provided

• Full on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate
