Senior Associate - Wills, Trusts & Probate (5-8 PQE)
Location: Basingstoke
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Full Remuneration Package: In excess of £85,000-£95,000

A Legal 500-ranked firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5-8 PQE ideally) to join its busy and well-established Wills, Trusts & Probate (WTP) team in Basingstoke.
This is a key strategic hire due to continued growth and high workload. The team is close-knit, high-performing and led by two exceptional Heads of Department known for driving progression and mentoring senior lawyers.
The Role
You will manage a varied and high-quality private client caseload, including:
Wills and estate planning
Inheritance tax planning
Probate and full estate administration
Trust creation, registration and administration
Deeds of variation and LPAs
Complex and high-value estates
You will also:
Support and mentor junior team members
Contribute to business development and local networking
Maintain strong compliance and regulatory standards
Deliver empathetic, clear advice to clients, including vulnerable individuals
About You
5-8 PQE (or equivalent experience) in Private Client
Strong technical expertise in WTP matters
Confident managing complex estates independently
Commercially aware and proactive
Collaborative and team-focused
STEP qualification (or working towards) and experience advising HNW clients are advantageous.
