We are seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school, supporting children as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in a special school environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their potential while providing personalised support for children with special educational needs (SEN).

About the Role

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will support pupils in the classroom and in small groups, assisting teachers with lesson delivery and SEN-focused strategies. You will play a key role in helping children access the curriculum, develop social and emotional skills, and gain confidence in their learning. This role is based in Greenwich, in a school committed to inclusive education and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEN as a Support Assistant in the classroom and during structured activities.
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and personalised learning plans.
Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Contribute to ongoing education and training for staff and pupils.
Observe and report on pupil progress to inform teaching strategies.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support pupil development.Requirements
