About the Role:
As a Sales Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the sales function, turning client enquiries into accurate, professional quotes and helping ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong technical and commercial awareness who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately price and prepare estimates based on drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and Sales team to manage the quoting process.
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain timely and competitive pricing.
* Provide clients with detailed project documentation, datasheets, and visuals.
* Coach and support junior team members in quote production and process management.
* Prioritise quotes based on deadlines and strategic impact.
* Maintain accuracy in opportunity values and ensure smooth sales-to-operations handover.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience estimating within the lighting, electrical, or building services sectors.
* Proficiency in CAD software and comfortable working with technical drawings.
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* A keen eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
* Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
