About the role
Moxie People are partnering with a respected housing provider to recruit an experienced Income Recovery Officer on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract. You'll take ownership of a defined patch of around 600 homes, with a clear focus on income recovery and arrears management.

You'll manage arrears cases end‑to‑end, working closely with tenants to understand their circumstances, agree sustainable repayment plans, and prevent escalation wherever possible. This will include home visits, early intervention, and referrals to support services. You'll also prepare notices, support legal action when needed, and attend safeguarding meetings where appropriate. There's minimal lettings involvement - this role is very much about income.

MRI experience is useful, but not essential. What matters most is your confidence, empathy, and ability to work independently from day one.

About you

• Strong experience in income recovery within social housing
• A good understanding of Renting Homes Wales
• Confidence handling safeguarding concerns
• A full driving licence and access to a car
• Eligibility for a DBS check
