Job Title: Highways Operations Support Officer

Location: Wandsworth - full time office based

Hourly rate £16.25 PAYE / £21.10 UMB Per Hour

Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

Our Direct Services Organisation (DSO) is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player to support our Highways Maintenance teams.

In this fast-paced and varied role, you'll work closely with our Senior Highways Contract Supervisor and Support Supervisor to keep our operations running smoothly. No two days look the same!

What you'll be doing:

• Acting as the first point of contact-managing enquiries and providing a friendly, efficient service
• Booking and varying jobs to support on-the-ground Highways operations
• Processing invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
• Scheduling work to keep our operational teams organised and on track
• Issuing works permits and ensuring compliance with required processes
• Delivering a wide range of technical and administrative support to help keep our roads safe and our services running
• Experience working in Highways and Street works desirable
