We are excited to invite applications for a Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic Science department at a highly regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Bath. Role Summary:
The successful candidate will deliver Chemistry lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, supporting a curriculum that challenges and inspires students. The department offers extensive practical work opportunities and enrichment activities including STEM clubs, science fairs, and trips.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that develop scientific understanding and practical skills

Support students in external competitions such as Chemistry Olympiads

*

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention

*

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

*

Engage with parents and pastoral teams to support student welfare and achievement

Candidate Profile:

Degree in Chemistry or related subject plus QTS

*

Proven ability to teach Chemistry confidently up to A-Level

*

Strong commitment to inclusive teaching, differentiated learning, and student development

*

Excellent communicator and team player, keen to contribute to extra-curricular activities
