General Operatives - St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Due to excellent growth, our client is looking to recruit a further general operatives to join their busy production team.

Working pattern for Machine Production / Manufacturing Operatives:

• *07.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday, 07.00am to 13.30pm on Fridays
• *normal start time is 07.30 - these hours are for a few weeks, please ask for further details

Working pattern for Warehouse department:

AM Shift:

• 07.30 to 16.00pm Monday to Thursday
• 07.30 to 13.30pm on Fridays.

PM Shift:

• 16.00 to 12.30am Monday to Thursday
• 13.00 to 18.30pm on Fridays.

This exciting opportunity is working for a globally recognised company within the golf industry.

• Start accruing 33 days holiday per year from your first day.

Prior to your induction, you will have a tour of their differing operations.

Hourly rate:

• From £12.70 to £14.60 per hour (depending on department)
• Paid weekly
• 33 days holiday per year

Machine Production/Manufacturing Operatives:

• 12 week training program.
• Learn how to use the individual machines.
• Amending golf clubs to order.
• Lengthening, shortening, increasing, decreasing the weight.
• Changing club-heads.
• Able to work under pressure, this role is measured, you are given offer you full support to reach your goals.
• Using bespoke tools.
• Working well as part of a teamwork.

Warehouse operative main duties:

• Packing items.
• Making boxes up ready for placing items into.
• Picking orders for packing into boxes.
• Picking orders from a Pick List.
• Able to work under pressure, these roles are measured, you are given offer you full support to reach your goals.
• Using bespoke tools.
• Working well as part of a teamwork.
