Job Title: Panel Wirer Fitter (Factory Based)

Pay Rate: £13 - £20ph

Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:40 PM
Includes a daily break for lunch

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Panel Wirer Fitter to join our factory-based team in West Brom on a temporary ongoing basis. This role involves a variety of electrical engineering tasks focused on control panels and units. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Select and mount electrical components accurately
Wire electrical components to specification
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults
Perform electrical testing and inspection
Refurbish electrical units as required
Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation
Modify and troubleshoot PLC systems
Support general workshop duties as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Experience & Competencies:

Qualified Electrical Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer with PLC experience
18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Competent with IT and Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a proactive problem solver
Flexible, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
Willingness to travel to customer sites if required
