Salary: £400 - £450 per day
Role Overview: We're looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of an 11/33kV substation for a battery plant project. You'll oversee mechanical and electrical installation works, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are met.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage M&E works on-site, including HV/LV cabling, switchgear, transformers, and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with HSE and CDM regulations.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce safety standards.
- Monitor progress, quality, and report to the Project Manager.
- Liaise with DNO/IDNO, client reps, and commissioning teams.
- Maintain site records, RAMS, and daily logs.
Requirements: - Experience managing M&E works on HV substations (11/33kV), ideally on BESS or renewable projects.
- Strong knowledge of ICP/DNO standards and grid connection processes.
- SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant site certifications.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
