P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities:

* Maintaining a constant clean glassware supply.

* Purchasing of laboratory consumables.

* Disposal of laboratory samples.

* Administration tasks for the support of QC.

* Be trained, and adhere to all procedures associated with Quality, GMP, and hygiene within the role.

* Maintain a safe working environment by working safely.

* Be trained and qualified in all relevant Health and Safety Procedures, report accidents and take part in investigations.

* Documents to be read/read verified on a timely basis.

* To bring to the attention of his/her line manager any difficulties or problems encountered in the performance of his/her duties.

* Perform any additional tasks as required by the QC Manager.

Person Specification:

* Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels

* Proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel.

* Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

* Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

* The ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.

* Ability to work equally well on own initiative or within small, dynamic teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English.

* Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment or handling chemicals.

Working Hours:

* Monday - Friday
