Edge Careers are working with a long-established Tier1 Main Contractor who are delivering a significant new-build project in the Oxfordshire region, and they're looking to bring a talented Quantity Surveyor into the team. This opportunity is for their Central Southern Division that has an excellent pipline of work throughout Bourenmouth, Southampton, Andover, Portsmouth and surrounding.

This is a business with a strong track record across healthcare, education, commercial and public sector schemes - often on a repeat basis for major clients. They operate with a collaborative, people-first approach and genuinely value their commercial team as central to successful project delivery.

The Role
You'll be based on-site, working closely with the Project Manager and wider commercial team to manage all cost and contract elements. It's a role that offers variety, challenge and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on a high-profile, high value scheme in the region.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments

* Contract administration (NEC / JCT)

* Accurate cost reporting and forecasting

* Working closely with site and design teams to maximise value and mitigate risk

* Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

What we're looking for

* Previous experience as a QS within a Tier1 Main Contractor environment

* Strong knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts

* Confident communicator with good commercial acumen

* A proactive, team-oriented approach
