We are seeking a skilled Planned Property Surveyor to join a large social housing provider in South Londonn. This role is crucial for conducting a range of surveying tasks including stock condition surveys, damp and mould surveys, and other property inspections. Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct stock condition and damp & mould surveys, identifying and assessing issues, and recommending solutions.
Use diagnostic tools such as moisture meters and thermal imaging equipment to assess the extent of problems and potential causes.
Diagnose causes of dampness and severity, including condensation, rising damp, penetrating damp, or plumbing leaks.
Provide clear recommendations on appropriate remedial actions or repairs to resolve damp and mould problems.
Prepare and submit detailed survey outcome reports using I-Auditor, ensuring findings are detailed and supported with appropriate photographs, categorisations, and justifications for works.
Communicate effectively with tenants, providing them with practical advice on prevention and treatment, and addressing their concerns throughout the investigation process.
Assist in identifying patterns in damp and mould issues across the housing portfolio to inform long-term asset management strategies.
Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including Consultation & Commercial, Procurement teams as part of the S20 consultation process.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree level building qualification or equivalent.
Extensive experience in Building Surveying, stock condition surveying, and Damp & Mould surveying.
Experience working with Housing Associations/local authorities or other relevant sectors.
Strong technical ability and HSE experience.
Knowledge of current statutory regulations and codes of practice.
Ability to write comprehensive & accurate reports and display professionalism at all times.
