Job Description

We are seeking a Veteran Services Assistance Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for helping Veterans with their emergency situations by interfacing with the VA Social Workers and coordinating payments with vendors.


  • Reach out to the VA Social Workers
  • Provide updates to Executive Director on Veteran assistance
  • Understand the Veteran's emergency situation
  • Coordinate payments to creditors
  • Document and update Veteran records in Donor Perfect
  • Develop solutions to problems
  • Develop new strategies to ongoing issues
  • Build relationships with the VA social workers and update them with new referral forms


  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with social workers and veterans
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe experienced preferred
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
