We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Stores & Transport Clerk to join our client in Sheffield S9.

This is a hands-on role supporting both warehouse operations and transport planning to ensure materials and finished goods are received, picked, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time.

You'll work closely with the warehouse, production, and transport teams to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Stores & Transport Clerk Benefits:

• Salary: £13.00 per hour - reviewed after 12 weeks and opportunity to develop within an expanding business
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am- 1:30pm
• Location; Sheffield, S9
• Contract: Temp to perm based on performance, attendance and client requirement
• Start date: ASAP

Stores & Transport Clerk Key Responsibilities:

• Booking in and checking deliveries against purchase orders
• Accurately picking stock within the stores department to fulfil internal and external orders
• Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Updating stock records accurately using internal systems
• Coordinating outbound deliveries and scheduling transport
• Preparing dispatch paperwork and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Liaising with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies
• Logging information on the system and sending/responding to emails
• Supporting general stores and logistics administration

Stores & Transport Clerk Criteria:

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, transport setting
• Strong IT skills
• Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Willingness to a varied role that also involves picking and heavy lifting
• Knowledge of transport compliance or logistics processes (advantageous)
