IT Deployment Engineer

We're supporting a growing technology business that delivers large-scale IT solutions into the hospitality and retail sector. Their technology is used nationwide by instantly recognisable household brands.

As an IT Deployment Engineer, you'll be at the heart of configuring, testing, and deploying a wide range of IT hardware. This role is hands-on and practical, ideal for a Deployment Engineer who enjoys working with physical kit and seeing projects come to life.

What you'll be doing:

Acting as a key Deployment Engineer on IT projects, building and configuring hardware including kiosks, tills, tablets, laptops, routers, switches, and servers

*

Testing and troubleshooting systems ahead of deployment to ensure successful rollouts

*

Supporting installations and ensuring equipment is deployed to high quality standards

*

Preparing technical documentation and maintaining accurate build records

*

Assisting with on-site projects and installations when required (occasional travel, some night work)

What we're looking for:

*

3+ years' experience as an IT or EPOS Deployment Engineer, or similar role in IT deployments/support

*

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 7-11, Windows Server #removed#)

*

Hands-on experience with networks, servers, routers, and switches

*

Exposure to VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation would be advantageous

*

A methodical, detail-oriented approach with good problem-solving skills
