HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – OLDHAM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Oldham.

Shifts

• Tuesday to Saturday

• AM starts

Rates of Pay

• £15.00 per hour (basic)

• £16.73 per hour (when completing a full week)

Day-to-Day Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles

• Complete multi-drop deliveries

• Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and correctly loaded

• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point

• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation

• Comply with all UK traffic laws and driver regulations

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence (held for a minimum of two years)

• Minimum of one year’s experience driving Category C vehicles

• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)

• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic

• Good communication and customer service skills

Training Provided

• Full site induction

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
