A local authority in Hampshire are seeking an experienced interim Asbestos Surveyor to join their team for a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with current legislation and industry standards.

* Prepare detailed survey reports, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions.

* Liaise with stakeholders, including property owners, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure clear communication and compliance.

* Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload to meet project deadlines and targets.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asbestos inspections and remediation efforts.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, with relevant qualifications (P402, BOHS, etc.).

* Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within Hampshire as required.
