NXA are proud to be partnering with a national transport operator to find a Shift Manager on an initial 9 month contract with a strong chance of the position going permanent

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out day-to-day driver planning and management for a national trunking operation

* Ensure that all drivers are compliant with legalities including working time directives

* Drive operational performance of an experienced team of drivers

* Conduct performance reviews and work with drivers on Root Cause Analysis

* Drive key metrics such as fuel usage, service provision and productivity

Skills you will need:

* Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a logistics function

* A managerial CPC is an advantage

* A proactive attitude to problem solving
