Job Description
A well-loved nursery in Horsham is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to take the lead in one of their busy early years rooms. This is an excellent opportunity to take a step up, support a small team, and be a key part of a happy, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of practitioners

*

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS

*

Promote child development through play and structured learning

*

Track progress and maintain accurate records

*

Liaise with parents and carers, sharing updates and achievements

*

Ensure a safe, clean and positive environment

*

Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

*

Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years

*

Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding

*

Prior experience in a senior role or as a key worker

*

Confident, warm and highly organised

*

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
